Blue is an upcoming film slated for a release on 16th october 2009, and is starring Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan while Kylie Minogue makes a guest appearance in the movie . It is an action film that is centered around an underwater treasure guarded by sharks. Blue is about a treasure that is buried 250 feet deep at the bottom of an ocean and is guarded by about 40 sharks. The lead characters of the movie are in search of the treasure. Kunal, buddy I am also a big fan of the genious, A R Rahman. His songs have a special cast on me, and I just can't express it.

A. R. Rahman composed the music for the film and lyrics by Mayur Puri Abbas Tyrewala Rajat Arora and Sukhwinder Singh. Kylie Minogue will sing a song along with Sonu Nigam and Suzanne D'Mello for the movie soundtrack. She made a promotional music video to promote the movie with Akshay Kumar. Minogue flew into Mumbai to film the music video on the 24th of February 2009. Weeks after the album's release, T-series, the music company, removed Kylie Minogue's vocals and replaced them with Suzanne D'Mello, Sonu Nigam's portion remained intact. The second promotional video features Lara Dutta and Sanjay Dutt in the song 'Aaj dil Gustakh'[5] The songs released on 8th September 2009.According to Rahman, he feels that it was a great opportunity to work with someone of the calibre of Kylie Minogue who is popular in the whole world, and by sheer co-incidence, he says that he recorded the song with her the very next day when she handed him his BAFTA award.[6]
The music for the album, given by A.R. Rahman coming close on the heels of his success with Slumdog Millionnaire, is eclectic and different.
