Rangeela is directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and was released in 1995. It starred Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Jackie Shroff. Although A. R. Rahman got the filmfare award for composing it's beautiful songs but I think Jatin-Lalit (who has not got a single award even after 11 nominations!!) deserved this award for his fantastic Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (it's just what I feel, I might be wrong, How do you feel about this??). The music is great with lyrics from Mehboob. I hope you enjoy the songs.

To tell the truth, I have not seen this movie, but definitely heard it's beautiful songs. Kumar Sanu has got a well deserved award for his 'Sochenge Tumhe Pyar Kare Ke Nahi' and the music is composed by the best directors of 90's Nadeem Shravan with lyrics from Sameer.

Pakeezah released in 1972 will be well remembered by generations of its admirers for its touching story of a courtesan Meena Kumari, and for its lovely songs by Ghulam Mohammed. She was shown dancing on shattered glasses with all the pieces piercing her legs and wounding her like hell. One of the most painful seen I have ever seen, So dont see it if you are in a mood of masti. It was the magnum opus of the director, Kamal Amrohi who was known for his perfectionism.

Ghulam Mohammed is at his best in composing the songs in his last album. They are so amazing, that back in 1972, at the Filmfare awards Pran, who got award for his Be-Imaan refused the award and told that Ghulam Mohammed deserved Posthumas Filmfare for the marvellous songs of Pakeezah.

Their is fashion of itself in the music, with 'Mar Jawaan' as the best of the lot. Personally I like the theme of fashion, and Kuch Khass hai. Shruti Pathak has got a well deserved filmfare award for her touching song 'Mar Jawaan'.

The much awaited Dostana directed by Tarun Mansukhani was released on November 14, 2008. When I watched the movie, The starting was great, i loved it. The funniest part was plot before the song Maa Da Ladla. Last Part was emotional, and i thought it was not well executed, Bobby Deol walking in when John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan, are already in the race to impress Priyanka Chopra, and it suddenly ended. It was good, but it could have been lot better.

The music of Dostana is composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, and the lyrics is penned by Kumaar, Anvita Dutt Guptan and Vishal Daldani. The songs have their own taste, with "Jaane Kyun" as the best track of the lot. 'Maa Da Ladla' is famous for its own reason. I hope you enjoy the songs.

Taare Zameen Par is Aamir Khan's first movie as a director, and do i need to tell anything about it. Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary) the child suffering from dyslexia is the pivot around which the whole story revolves. It begins with the banging from the teachers for not studying and bunking classes exploring nature's beauty (quite similar to me, definitely I bunked for obvious reasons :). Then the seperation of Ishaan from his home after being sent to a boarding school. The song 'Maa' at this moment was touching. Well, too much talking from me, It is the best movie of 2007, so watch it and you will know.

The music is composed by the famous trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while the lyrics is from Prasoon Joshi. The soundtrack "Maa" is so touching, and the title track is in perfect sync with the storyline. I hope you like the songs.

Jodhaa-Akbar is an Indian epic film released in 2008. It is directed and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. And it won quite a lot of awards for its every aspect.
Both the music composer A. R. Rahman and the lyricist Javed Akthar won filmfare awards for such beautiful songs. "Jashn-e-bahaara" is the best song of the whole lot, followed by "Azeem-o-shaan Shahenshah" and "Khwaja Mere Khwaja" is an icing on the cake. Hope you enjoy the songs.

Gangster is a film directed by Anurag Basu and released in 2006. The film stars Shiney Ahuja, Emraan Hashmi and Kangna Ranaut, a debutant. The film is a story of a bar girl who is in love with two people, one an ordinary, simple man and the other, a gangster. Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar was initially offered the role of Daya in the film, but he turned it down saying: "Cricket is not only my profession but my obsession as well."The music is by Pritam. When Subhash Ghai decided on putting Mahima Chaudhry in this movie, he changed her name from Ritu to Mahima cause the letter 'M' was lucky for a Subhash Ghai debut (Manisha Koirala and Madhuri Dixit).The music is perfect and is from the perfectionists of 90's Nadeem-Shravan. Yes! truly 90's was the time when whatever they composed was a massive hit. The soulful lyrics is from Anand Bakshi. I love "Do Dil Mil Rahe Hai", "Diwana Dil" the most. I hope you like them too.
