Looks like the heat was applied and not inherent. Other than Zindagi Do Pal Ki (which is why it seems to have been selected for the promo), only Kites In The Sky is worth lisning (and that too Suzanne D'Mellow only). Even K K could not save Dil Kyun Ye Mera.
I'd love to see how the movie itself fares.

Ya! Choices do vary and I can't agree more. But even then, after listening both KK-numbers at least for two and a half hours in repeat mode in the still of cool late night I still believe KK's terrific range (already manipulated in this song) is a bit wasted in Dil Kyun... (I cannot place it on a smooth flow like in Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai; it sounds to me jaggy), though I am beginning to like it now as it has grown on me after multiple listening. I'd still put Zindagi... higher.

@Praval: Thanks for cycling back, dude.. That's really appreciated... I also did not develop an instantaneous liking for Dil Kyun Yeh Mera, but slowly, it has grown on me... and seems to have a long lasting tinge in it.. Ofcouse Zindagi is great...

@amit: truly one should buy original music that one likes, it supports the artists.. I would recommend others to do the same, if they love the album..
